Peter D. Cardigan
Wikipidia – Peter D. Cardigan. Born 1968 – Waggon & Horses Public House, High Street, Black Country.
3rd in line to the Duchy of Tipton. Peter Cardigan abdicated in 2001 to Lanzarote following the collapse of The Chocolate Teapot Franchise, compounded by a fall out with Hugo Guthrie, long term friend and alleged head of the Tipton Tourist Board.
Having moved to Lanzarote, Mr Cardigan dabbled in a number of activities over the years; working for Correos, (postal services), but left after initially getting the sack and had a brief stint at Chacho’s Zapateria, (cobblers in Mozaga), though his sole really wasn’t in it after getting the boot.
This was followed by a very profitable few months clearing leaves in Orzola for 50€ an hour. Despite raking it in, Peter decided a change of direction was needed and went into manufacturing detour signs (although contracts with the Spanish Highways Department never materialised).
Following a number of uneventful investments including a flawed seawater bottling enterprise he eventually landed on his feet with the offer of the ideal job – combining a love of radio, music, football (and beer, if you count going to the pub after the Show).
Peter Cardigan was recently quoted on page 64 of a recent edition of Take A Break magazine found in the toilets at the Tias P’can petrol station, as saying:
‘So here we are. It’s been a roller coaster of a journey and a dream come true to finally end up on Monster Radio for the Footy Fan Show’ he further went on to add ‘Any chance you could lend me a fiver mate? My car’s run out of petrol and the show starts in 10 minutes’.
Footnote.
(Peter has recently been contacted by the Lanzarote Sceptics Society about a lucrative position on the board, he is reported in the pages of Viz as having his doubts).
