Neil Harvey – Mr Soccer

Neil Harvey (Monster Radio’s very own Mr Soccer), was born in Glossop, Derbyshire.

After moving around a bit, he finally settled with Mum and Dad into their current home in Paignton, Devon.  As a child, Neil spent much time in and out of Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Being actively interested in music, he spent a lot of time at Radio Gosh (Great Ormond Street Hospital) where he was fortunate enough to meet quite a few celebrities including Cilla Black, Brian May, and Princess Diana (see photos).

Neil loves soccer and his two teams are Manchester City and U.D.Lanzarote. On a recent visit to Lanzarote, Neil visited the Monster radio studios, where he was presented with a couple of T shirts. He now listens to the station as often as he can, spreading the word as well with his friends and locals of his home town of Paignton.

At the start of the Football season, Neil joined the Footie Fan show on Monster Radio which broadcasts every Saturday afternoon from 3 pm, acting as a roving presenter focusing on the Premiership matches.
